Omokri invites the Army to assassinate Boko Haram’s leader in the same way that the IPOB commander was assassinated.

Reno Omokri, a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, has challenged Nigerian security forces to assassinate Abubakar Shekau, the
leader of the Boko Haram terrorist sect, using the same force that was used to assassinate one Commander Ikonso, a top member of the Indigenous People of Biafra. The PUNCH previously announced that the IPOB leader and six other militia members were killed in Imo State by police operatives and their counterparts from the Nigerian Army and Department of State Services. ANYTHING CELEBRITY has previously announced that the IPOB leader and six other militia members were killed in Imo State by police operatives and their counterparts from the Nigerian Army and Department of State Services. On Saturday, the IPOB men were killed during an early morning raid on their hideout in Awomama village, Oru East Local Government Area of the state, by members of the secessionist group’s security arm, the Eastern Security Network.
IPOB has since threatened “madness,” claiming that the governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, will “pay dearly” for the assassination of its leader. The Federal Government has classified both IPOB and Boko Haram as terrorist organizations.
Omokri retaliated by challenging security forces to assassinate the leaders of other criminal and terrorist elements in the country in the same way that Ikonso was ambushed.

“Can’t Nigeria’s Army take out Boko Haram leaders, bandits, and killer herdsmen troubling Nigeria the same way they took out alleged ESN chief,
Ikonso?” he tweeted. Or are they (security agencies) only effective against ESN and ineffective against Boko Haram, robbers, and herders?”
When Mohammed Yusuf, the founder of the militant Islamist group Boko Haram, was killed in 2009, Nigeria’s North-East gained notoriety. Yusuf’s
death ushered in a macabre period of unparalleled revolt, complete with bloodshed, bombings, and kidnappings, to name a few.
The insurgents’ unprintable actions have also displaced millions of aboriginal Borno, Yobe, and Adamawa people.
Boko Haram has been oppressing the people of the North-East for more than a decade, steadily extending its demonic tentacles to the North-West. The Shekau’s bloodthirsty faction continues to strike with daring effrontery and coarse savagery, despite the Army and the Presidency’s claims that the party has been “technically defeated” and “weakened.”
