EndSARS: Misbehaving people will not get away with it – Buhari
The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd. ), has stated that those who misbehaved during the EndSARS protests will not be tolerated. On Friday, Buhari revealed this in an exclusive interview with the Nigerian Television Authority. The President was asked to explain what he meant by his genocidal remark, which was tagged on Twitter.
“What I mean is, how can you go to a police station, kill the officers inside, loot the armoury, and burn it down?” he said. What do you hope to accomplish?

The former governor of Lagos State purchased 200 buses to supplement Lagos’ transportation, and he planned a complex involving railways, but they were burned down.
“When the current governor came to meet me and told me he had created an album, I remarked, ‘Thank you very much.’ I took the album, archived it, and urged him to tell Lagosians to work because we don’t have the money after the government purchased 200 buses for some people to come and burn it. So, let them do their thing.” When asked if he would respond in a “fire for fire” manner, the President stated, “We will arrest them, try them, give them very terrible publicity, and then prison them so that others will know that if they misbehave, they will not get away with it.”
