Extra time is being played in the Euro 2020 semi-final match between Spain and Italy.
Alvaro Morata’s late equalizer forced extra time in Spain’s Euro 2020 semi-final versus Italy at Wembley on Tuesday, as the match finished 1-1 after 90 minutes. On the hour mark, Federico Chiesa gave Italy the lead with a wonderful curling goal.
However, the much-maligned Morata, who had been dropped to the bench for the first time in the tournament, was introduced as a replacement and tucked home with 10 minutes remaining following a nice one-two with Dani Olmo. The winners will meet either England or Denmark in the final on Sunday in London, which will be played on Wednesday.
