Mrs. Anita Ugochinyere Ogbonna, a Nigerian woman based in Brazil, was apprehended by National Drug Law Enforcement Agency operatives at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja with 100 pellets of cocaine secreted in her private part and handbag. According to the agency, the mother of three was apprehended on Friday night upon arrival in Abuja through Qatar Air from Sao Paulo, Brazil via Doha.
“Upon a comprehensive search, 12 wraps of cocaine implanted in her private part were withdrawn, while another 88 pellets stuffed in socks were discovered stashed in her handbag,” the NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, said in a statement on Sunday.
