Andrew Cuomo “sexually harassed many women,” including staffers in his office, according to the office of the New York Attorney General. How we got to where we are now
At the end of the year, he was accused of sexual misconduct by more than a handful of female accusers. She was the first person to accuse the governor of sexual harassment and of kissing her against her will, according to Boylan, a former assistant to Cuomo. She shared her allegations for the first time in a series of tweets that followed.
I have been sexually harassed for many years by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, she tweeted. Many people were able to see it and were able to see it. Was I going to be interrogated about my work (which was excellent) or hounded about my appearance? She went on to say that she had a lot “Or would both be discussed at the same time? ” The way things were done in the past was the same for years.” The governor has refuted the charges on several occasions. He has also denied improperly touching anyone and refused to quit when called upon by fellow Democrats. An investigation conducted by the Attorney General’s office over several months resulted in roughly 200 interviews, including some of individuals who had complained to the governor about him.
