According to Fani-Kayode, the APC’s quality has improved in order to recruit elite members like himself.
Femi Fani-Kayode, the former Minister of Aviation, says a newfound love for President Muhammadu Buhari’s leadership characteristics was one of the factors that led him to join the APC (APC).
When he met with President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on September 16, 2021, he formally deserted the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the ruling party.
His departure has raised eyebrows, especially given that he has previously made public statements disparaging the APC and its members, including President Muhammadu Buhari, who is a frequent target.
During an appearance with Channels TV late Thursday, the former minister defended his decision, saying he’s now discovered that President Buhari is a better leader than he’d been led to think in the past.
“I’m not suggesting Mr. President is an angel, or that he’s a demon.
Fani-Kayode also stated that the APC’s quality has developed and changed over time in order to attract exceptional members such as himself.
Nigerians, according to the 60-year-old, must comprehend the value of togetherness and ensure that the country remains united and works effectively for everyone.
