Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has expressed his admiration for IPOB members’ tenacity, according to his primary lawyer, Ifeanyi Ejiofor.

He also stated that Department of State of Service personnel no longer treat Nnamdi Kanu’s attorneys in a disgusting way.

IPOB: After Buhari’s visit, Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer declares, “We are winning.”

He made the remarks after his legal team paid a visit to the separatist leader in DSS custody on Thursday, the same day that President Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) paid a visit to Imo State.

IPOB organized a sit-at-home protest during Buhari’s visit, according to the PUNCH.

During his visit, Buhari was perplexed as to why certain Igbo guys are demanding independence.

Any attempt by an Igbo guy to escape the nation, he termed as “unthinkable.”

The lawyer has previously criticized officials from the Department of State Services for denying attorneys access to the IPOB leader.

“I saw Our indefatigable Client-Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in the presence of his younger brother-Prince Emmanuel Kanu (Fine Boy), in apparent conformity with the requirements for our weekly visits,” the lawyer stated in an update about the Thursday visit.

“Our client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has always been in a good mood and has never wavered in his views.

“We had in-depth talks about our professional services as well as family issues, all of which were handled.

“The tenacity of his millions of fans and lovers of liberty astounds and impresses him. He is truly speechless when it comes to expressing his gratitude and appreciation to you all.

“I am pleased to inform millions of our friends, wellwishers, and Umuchineke that, in response to the outcry that greeted the horrible manner in which we were handled during these regular inspections in recent weeks, State Security Service authorities have reversed their position.

“We will not hesitate to notify the rest of the globe if they make any more changes to their approach, at any moment.

“Our client, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, was extremely impressed with the degree of progress made so far by the legal team, which was skillfully led by my humble self and other good conscience individuals.
